Hi Visibility foot Patrols

Good morning Aberdare, 

Yesterday, we conducted a high visibility foot patrol around Aberdare town and its surrounding residential areas, acting as a reassuring presence to the general public. 

We also spoke with local businesses, highlighting the importance on safety, the purchasing of fireworks & sparklers, tackling anti-social behaviour and being vigilant on the types of products being sold as we approach Halloween. (Flour & Eggs). It was a huge success, with many businesses in the area keen to engage with South Wales Police. I have attached some of the posters that businesses have placed in their shop windows.

Today, my colleague Rachel and I will be conducting further high visibility foot patrols in Aberdare town and the residential streets. So please do feel free to come and say hi and voice any concerns you may have.
